This means businesses must automatically and immediately transmit their VAT data to the tax authorities of various Member States\u2014without delay, without error.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This shift requires:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Robust IT systems that can operate in real-time&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Uniform data formats that meet EU standards&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And above all: secure and consistent data storage&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Storing such sensitive transactional data abroad brings added risks: delays or unauthorized access can result in compliance failures, financial penalties, or cash flow disruptions.
