These were the highlights of the tcf. Anniversary Event!

tcf klantendag
It's been 15 years since tcf. was founded. And when it's your birthday, you throw a party! On Tuesday, April 16th, we gathered at the unique location of football stadium De Kuip in Rotterdam to celebrate the past and the future with our valued customers and partners. As one attendee put it: “This event was perfectly organized, and provided a fascinating journey through the past, present and future of tcf.”

Amsterdam-based football team Ajax is a famous, long-time rival of the Rotterdam team. But when we announced our 15th anniversary would be held in De Kuip, many Ajax supporters among our guests were unexpectedly delighted – even though they found themselves in ‘the enemy’s home base’. We are proud to have accomplished some level of understanding between the different football factions in our country.

“tcf. is a key partner in helping us to expand OpenText solutions and services towards their new and existing customers. Enabling its customers to excel in document presentment, invoice management, extended ECM, procure-to-pay (VIM) and enterprise information management (EIM) solutions whilst rapidly transforming their digital core into a futureproof and sustainable platform.”

Where sports meet business

The tcf. Anniversary Event – hosted by Dutch TV presenter Jamie Trenité – mixed business and pleasure: in-depth presentations and business networking went hand in hand with humor, fun and good food. The event centered on the commonality between business and professional sports. Couldn't make the event? Read on for a number of highlights!

  1. tcf. – 15 years of professional sports!

Directors and founders Arno Jellema and Michiel Glazener took a deep dive into the history of 15 years of tcf. How did they shape the company? Which lessons did they learn along the way? But above all: how did it all work out? It was truly a trip down memory lane, with plenty of old photos showing a fresh-faced Arno and Michiel. Some attendees even thought they looked quite cute... Arno also had great news to share: “Given the current, successful developments, we expect to grow to 75 employees in the coming years!”

  1. Guided tour by John de Wolf

A unique experience: famous ex-Feyenoord player John de Wolf led attendees on a tour of De Kuip. The former football star shared several funny anecdotes from his career, which everyone clearly enjoyed. Ajax fans in particular could hardly believe their eyes, as they found themselves walking down the famous players' tunnel of the Feyenoord stadium...

  1. Closing keynote speaker Björn Kuipers

Björn Kuipers' closing keynote address was one of the highlights of Tuesday's tcf. Anniversary Event, many attendees agreed. The famous referee talked energetically about the many similarities between entrepreneurship and professional sports. "An awesome talk about taking responsibility and winning together," one attendee commented.

On to the next 15 years!

Judging by the many positive reactions we've received, our Anniversary Event in Rotterdam was a great success. Menno Heesbeen, Sales Director ECS Benelux at OpenText, told us: “Celebrating tcf.'s 15th anniversary on April 16th in the Rotterdam Kuip was an impressive milestone. This event was perfectly organized, and provided a fascinating journey through the past, present and future of tcf. The inspiring sessions, such as ‘a day in the life of a knowledge worker’, and the fascinating closing keynote address by Björn Kuipers, underlined the dynamics and importance of our collaboration.”

Menno continued: “I look forward to the further growth of our partnership, and am convinced that our synergy will continue to contribute to the innovation and service we provide to our customers.”

Thank you for your kind words, Menno – we hope to work with you and all our other customers and partners for at least another 15 years!
